What’s APIC
- APIC is the largest international conference of the chemical industry in Asia with over 1,500 participants from the petrochemical and related industries from over 40 countries around the world.

It originated from EAPIC (East Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference), which was founded in 1979 by Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. In the year 2000, the founding members of EAPIC decided to open its membership to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India (from 2004) as the petrochemical industries developed in Southeast Asia.
The conference was renamed APIC and hosted by member countries on a rotational basis.
